NEW UMPIRES :
To begin umpiring, you must be 14 years old. You are required to come to umpire training which is held at Knox Indoor Stadium.
When you have demonstrated basic skills and confidence you will begin umpiring with a mentor on under 11 & 13 matches. You may not necessarily be allocated to a match every week, but as you progress and no longer require a mentor, this gives greater flexibility in allocating you to a suitable match.
You will need to complete your Foundation Umpiring Course and Theory Exam before you begin. Please keep a record of your certificates (valid for six years):

How to Log into On-Line Courses:
Click on MyNetball > log in via the right hand panel on the Home page.
- Your USER NAME is your Netball Victoris membership number (NVM)- the number on the card you receive each year - and this number does not change.
- If you know your NVM and already have and remember your password, simply log in.
- If not, email our club and we can advise your of your email address on the Netball Victoria data base
- Then you can click on "lost password" > enter your email address > NV will email you a link to create your own password.
- You can then log in using your state membership number as USER NAME and your new password.
- You should save these details for other on-line learning.
- click on "on-line learning"
- enrol for the course you are doing: Exam (theory), Foundation Umpire Course
