Team Managers

FTG Netball Team Manager Responsibilities 5.15 Team Manager Every team is allocated a coach and team manager. These positions , as are all positions in the Club, purely voluntary. For a smooth running season, they are joint co-ordinators of the team and must ensure that their team is represented in all club matters.
  1. Abide by parent / spectator code of conduct
  2. Assist Communication with Fees Treasurer regarding Fees, monies due etc
  3. Ensuring all new players are correctly registered, before taking to the court.
  4. Checking players prior to inspection by umpire for correct uniform including socks and footwear. Check also for jewellery and nails.
  5. Scoring, - that is ensuring someone from team is scoring , organise a roster as required
  6. Collection or Return of a pole/padding if first or last session.
  7. Liaise with the Team Managers Co-ordinator ( committee position)
  8. Co-ordinating photos on behalf of the team, if required.
  9. Co-ordinating team's arrangements for presentation night.
  10. Handling distribution of newsletters and any club material.
  11. Participate in monthly team manager's meetings.
  12. Email availability is preferred to assist club communications

Scoring
If you would like to organise your team with a scoring roster, there is a blank copy of the roster available ( see below to download)    This is not compulsory, but does make it easier. You can get all competition details for the season from the netball connect app.   If you are the home team you need to get the scoresheet from the red tubs near the office and return it.

General
If you are first on the courts you will need to organise for someone to put out a pole and pad. If you are last on the courts you will need to put away the pole and pad.
